Captured at the Living Desert zoo, California.
Note, as of March 19, 2025, Drew one of the male wolves here, passed-over while having an operation on a back lesion. The kinship is still there between the three, partly spiritual.

Home
A gentle sunrise, placing a country town into it's positive rays. I love how the grain bins are reflected onto the lake surface. The lighting is so comforting.

Dewy Bath
Early morning hours, after a night of around 45 degrees f., this Bumble bee
was soaken wet with dew and unable to move due to the cold temperature.
The Bumble bee's eye seems to be saying, "Please don't hurt me" while I
took this photo.

Cynthia entered the National Wildlife Federation, "Garden for Wildlife 2022" photo contest.
Her photo shown below, was placed in honorable mentions for this contest. The link to see all photos is below.
"I am honored to have been chosen for honorable mention! I am also excited about this. There were thousands of beautiful photos taken by others. A lot of awesome photographers out there."

"I am thankful my dad and mom suggested I enter this contest. It's always a bit overwhelming to think I would have any chance of being selected out of so many amazing photographs out there. In fact, I felt a bit overwhelmed making sure my photos were edited correctly following the contest's rules.
I took a chance. And I am super happy I tried. Thank you Dad and Mom!"
