Art Exhibit in Watertown, SD

I'm getting excited to share my art with the people in Watertown, SD.

I, Cynthia will be exhibiting my art work-Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry (handmade, fine jewelry) and Cynthia Bergsbaken Photography (nature photography.)

I've never done this before except for one of my necklaces I made recently.

I consider myself a hobbyist, enjoying creating jewelry and  taking photos of nature.
I started making jewelry in 2014.  I work on it whenever I'm inspired to do so.

My photography, I started in 2017?  I started with my Iphone.  Iphones can take some pretty nice closeups!
When I take photos, it's not about the proper settings for me.  It's all about if I'm seeing "emotion" from the shot.  If I don't see the emotion in the shot, I typically won't share the photo.
I try to get outside for photography whenever I feel there maybe a good shot waiting for me.  Some days here in South Dakota are just too cold to do so.

Here is one of my photos I'll be sharing.  It was shot in Palm Springs, CA.  I love everything about this photo.  The coloring, the mountains, and the Palms in the front.  To me it says, "love".

I'll be sharing photos from California, South Africa, and South Dakota.  All of the photos will be for sale and can be purchased and bought on the spot.  All photos are Fine Art prints (giclee prints) and measure 14 x 11 inches.  With the Matt they are 16 x 20 inches.

The jewelry I make is from my own heart.  I will create fine jewelry pieces from scratch a lot of the times.  This gives me the most satisfaction.  I create pieces that reminds me of ancient cultures, I'll create pieces that are simple, but really nice to wear and look at.  And other times, I'll create pieces that are using a particular technique that I wanted to try.

All the pieces of jewelry I create are from solid Sterling Silver, Fine silver, 14 kt Gold-filled or 14kt Gold.  I use all real, mostly natural stones/gemstones.  I use a high grade of cultured pearls and stones.  Many of the necklaces were made for use of the natural stone in energy healing.  Other pieces were made more on the "looks" side, but will also help to heal energetically.

Here is  one of the necklaces I'll be bringing.

This is my Native American Style necklace.  This necklace is not in my Etsy shop.
