The New Hot Cocoa

I really enjoy a cup of hot cocoa. But at times, I do not want the hot milk. I want something lighter.

Because I love the flavors of chocolate and peppermint, I created a hot peppermint and cocoa tea.

I placed 1 teaspoon of my favorite Cacao shells in a hot cup of water. Let it tea steep for 10 minutes.

(I used Davidson's organic Cacao Bliss from Amazon.)

The last minute of the tea steeping, I added a tea bag of Peppermint tea. Let this stay in the tea for only 1 minute. Otherwise the peppermint may take over the flavor.

(I used Twinnings Peppermint Cheer tea. (Which has peppermint and vanilla in it.)

The tea is ready! Delicious hot cocoa flavor with a bit of mint flavor and basically no calories. Yum!

Let me know if you have any other flavor suggestions.
