African Sky earrings

Inspired by the rich blue-purple elegance of Tanzanite stones, embraced by Sterling silver.

Tanzanite stones have only one source.  First found in Mount Kilimanjaro, northern Tanzania, Africa, 1967.  There is a limited supply of Tanzanite.  When this stone runs out, there will be no more mining for it, unless another mine in the future comes about.  Tanzanite is said to be more rare then diamonds!  Around 1968, Tiffany & Company's president said this about this stone.  "Tanzanite is the most beautiful blue stone to be discovered in 2,000 years!"

Oriental Beauty earrings

These oriental inspired earrings are totally handmade.

Each solid Sterling silver band was hammered to flare out and curve, creating movement when you walk.

The gemstone is Jet, a type of coal called lignite.
Jet was produced by nature. Submerged driftwood in the sea-floor goes under a process called lithification.
Thus, beautiful black and deep brown gemstones are created= Jet.
Jet has been used as a gemstone since 1500 BC in Britain.

The ear wires are handmade using a finer piece of wire to give maximum comfort to those who have smaller ear holes.

I picked up some beautiful, rich turquoise-colored Turquoise with some small, silver and white spots in them.

Setting the Turquoise stones in a Sterling silver setting allows the stones to show off their colors.
